STRONG VIKINGS

This weekend, we did a great teambuilding with 120 colleagues.
 
THE STRONG VIKING OBSTACLE RUN
MUD EDITION





 
At first, I wasn't a big fan of it
and thought it would be hell for me.
 
I said to myself to train hard for the run,
but I only went once to the gym.
3 days before the start πŸ˜… OMG!

Usually I go now and then to the gym,
but it has been so busy with the twins and everything..

So 3 days before, I ran like 3,5 km's.
Trained my arms, back and chest.
Not a very good idea,
all my muscles were sore πŸ˜…
But I was prepared 😜
 
I did the 7 km's and it went good!
Very good I have to say.
All the men from work did a good job,
helping us over the obstacles.
Running was no issue, because you had to wait between the obstacles.
The biggest victory for me was getting dirty :)
Running through streams, crawling in the mud.
But I did it !
And it felt awesome to finish.
I did all the obstacles and was dirty as hell.
Ready to take a shower 😀
 
As pre workout, we learned a HAKA.
This is a traditional war dance from the Māori people of New Zealand.
Real cool to do this with lots of people!
